Fall/Winter 2013 make-up trends that work for every hair color

This season, it’s all about drama and smokey eyes! Trends vary from cat eyeliner to orange and copper tones, purple, pearly-glittery sheen, dark colors/grays.  To really make this season’s trends stand-out, matching the right colors for your hair color is key.

All shades of purple work well on platinum blondes, golden blondes and darker hair colors.

–  Grey shades are huge this season and look best on darker hair and platinum blondes. Apply misty soft washes of grey over the whole lid to really make your eyes pop!

–  Dark, dramatic eyes can be worn by every hair color. You can achieve this look by using black, dark brown, and navy blue.

–  Lips are all about reds, wines, and bright pinks in mattes or very, very glossy. All of these colors look great on darker hair, but there is a shade for everyone! Darker hair and platinum blondes should wear cooler shades with blue undertones. Golden and beachy blondes should stick to warmer shades of these colors. Matte or glossy, that is your choice!

–  To top off the look, make sure your skin has a luminous finish.
