For Spring 2015, Hervé Legér by Max Azria depicts a story of a modern-day onna-bugeisha. Inspired by the remarkable journey of the woman warrior, the collection is a portrayal of feminine strength. A neutral palette of whisper whites, cool grey and bare is offset by saturated shades of hibiscus, coral and aqua. Multi-color jacquards and origami bandage appliqué are contrasted by signature couture beading and metal weaving. Lace-up platform sandals and geometric clutches enrich her fearless glamour.
The show was packed at Lincoln Center. The crowd, a frenzy of Saturday show goers. Here are some of our favorite pieces.
