Chanel HC16 : Haute Couture show
The Grand Palais, Paris transformed into a modern fortress. Oh My Gawd! That’s all I can say. The set as always was something spectacular but the reveal at the end was so beautiful. Tiny little dolls all boxed up so perfectly. Open mouth, had to pick my jaw up off the floor.
The music was stunning it kept you reeling through piece after piece and after that even more pieces. Seventeen Minutes of bliss. The occasional stumble in the wobbly shoes across boards set in grass reminded us that not all is perfect, not even in Chanel land.
The collection was what one has come to expect from Lagerfeld. A true genius in his own right and yet keeping with what we count on in CHANEL: The brand.
