LANVIN

Being the oldest French Fashion House in operation the pressure was well and truly on to deliver a jaw dropping collection at Paris Fashion Week, and the Lavin show most definitely lived up to expectations.

Alber Elbaz has well and truly cemented the designer house as a firm celebrity favourite due to his elaborate and exquisitely designed pieces, his creative flare evident once again on the Parisian catwalk this Wednesday evening.

Trench coats, wrap skirts and shift dresses were key pieces in Lanvin’s latest collection, complemented to seasonal perfection with fedora hats and over the knee boots.

Synched in waists and fur lined coats were also a prominent presence on the runway resulting in layered looks that still highlighted the female silhouette – the trademark design strategy that has made the line so successful amongst women.

The collection consisted mostly of neutral shades, with a high percentage of pieces being, characteristically, classic black.  Tassels and fathers, powered by each models movements down the runway, brought Lanvin’s latest creations to life and highlighted the beauty of each piece to maximum effect.

Another sophisticated, seductive and seasonal success by Alber Elbaz and Lanvin!
