And They’re OFF

The Breeders’ Cup World Championships returned for its 34th year running. This year, the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club racetrack played host to one of Thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious international events, consisting of 13 races and purses totaling $26 million over two days.

I love the races. There’s nothing more exciting than that home stretch run to the finish. This year’s Breeders’ Cup races were a ball of excitement loaded with long-shots and letdowns but faith restored when the favorite GUN RUNNER blasted through to win the final Classic on Saturday eve.   It wasn’t a surprise that amongst all of the excitement surrounding the ups and downs at the races that fashion seemed to run it’s own course as well!

For the men the blue blazer seemed to rule the turf club. From complete blue suits to a blue blazer paired with a button down or sweater. For the ladies it was not a huge surprise that florals and bright prints were the prominent go to.

Some of our favorites worn by celebs attending would be the Josie Natori dress worn by Camilla Belle and the lovely ensemble worn by the original 10 herself Bo Derek. Both worn with a nude strappy sandal.

Our men’s picks go to Glen Powell and James Mardsen. Marsden with his subdued Etro plaid suit and Powell who paired his Vince Camuto jacket with khakis and a cap.

The suit of Champions!
