Hair whisperer and expert stylist, Gui Schroedler gives you a step by step DIY hair tutorial to recreate the textured mane look that you’ll never want to tame! Giddy up, cowgirls!
LOOK 1: Messy textured
On damp hair spray Bumble and Bumble prep spray on hair from roots to ends.
Rough dry hair until completely dry.
(rough dry: a technique using only hairdryer & fingers to work through the hair when drying. Do not use a brush.)
Next, apply Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray from roots to ends and rough dry again.
With a T3 Twirl 360 1 ¼” curling iron wrap random two inch sections for loose waves. Avoid anything too uniform.
After letting the curled sections cool, apply Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray again but only to the ends and rough dry.
Finish with Bumble and Bumble Dry Spun Thickening Spray for a piecey and textured look

LOOK 2:Textured disheveled low pony
Repeat the process from Look 1 to achieve textured hair
Next, make a low pony (below shoulder) and pull some hair pieces around the face.
Spray hair with Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray to maintain the look.
LOOK 3:Side textured braid
Repeat the process from Look 1 to achieve textured hair.
Using a T3 Carbon Cutting Comb make a deep side part and pull hair all the way from crown area to the side. With the top layer make a French braid directing hair to the side over the ear.
Spray Bumble and Bumble Dry Spun Thickening Spray for extra texture on hair that’s not braided.
