Ralph Lauren can do no wrong in my eyes. His collection was current, tailored and so fabulously put together it made me want to redesign my wardrobe for FALL.
The current trend this fall seemed to fall somewhere between 1960 and 70. But not Ralph. RL although adding a bit here and there of past decades designed a collection that is modern. The menswear designs and textures perhaps reminiscent of a Royal hunting party set in UK are all Ralph and always have been. The latter part of the show sent opulent velvets, brocades and lavishly designed collaring down the runway that truly captured what we have come to cherish in a Ralph Lauren collection….pure luxury.
