Some say LA isn’t a fashion mecca. Okay. I get it but designers are flocking to our warm weather eves and interesting venues to show us it’s not all freezing our asses off in NY fashion tents and the Grand Palais. Hedi Slimane knows. The designer has made Saint Laurent one of the most coveted cool digs for your kit to come around in decades. He also knows that NYFW just ain’t what it use to be. So while Anna W sits courtside at some mishmash of decadence next to Kim K….all the cool kids and Bisous were on the coast at the Palladium just 2 minutes down the hill from my house.
The show was what we’ve come to expect from Slimane, cool rocker chic. We love it every time. This collection seemed to really be bending on the 70’s feel which might also be just an indication of where this season is going with not only fashion but the new series Vinyl debuting on Sunday.
The red carpet was almost as fun as the show and party.
93 looks graced the runway both men’s and women’s. It was a feast for you rocker glam eyes.
