Summer extended as Tory Burch showed her Spring 2018 collection held in the garden of the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum.
For the line, Burch worked with designer David Hicks’ library, the legendary English interior designer who was known for his bold colors and mix of styles. Not unlike Burch herself.
Silky maxi dresses and relaxed trousers were complemented by oversized bags and Turkish towels, ready for yoga or pool-side reading. Long necklaces indicative of Burch’s emblematic design and draped scarves completed the looks, along with more of the closed-toe slides that have become so popular this season. I’d wear it.
