What’s the message? DIOR spring 2018

Is Dior still a French Luxury house or has Maria Grazia Chiuri’s over infused  pragmatic sensibilities aged-down the brand as to the point that it’s barely recognizable? I’m going to roll with the later. I get it, brands are playing to the millennial crowd. But does the M crowd even like it?   I enjoy that Chiuri  longs to teach her audience. But are they listening? Maybe I just wish her message wasn’t being taught through mary janes, blocked heeled mesh boots and hideous patchwork denim. Honestly, what is happening to fashion? I miss Dior.
